Bethesda Health Care in WA is undergoing a digital transformation with the launch of its new patient portal. After scrutinising the patient portal market Bethesda selected EpiSoft’s, epi-me, pre-admission patient portal. The independent hospital is the first epi-me customer to be integrated to Global Health’s MasterCare PAS. epi-me, formerly marketed as eAdmissions, is now integrated to 4 PAS including marketing leading WebPAS & IPM by DXC. This latest go live brings epi-me to a total of 73 implementation nationwide.
According to the Hospital’s project leads, Julia Morison, Manager Finance and Trish Barrett, Team Leader Patient Services “epi-me is the standout portal in the market, not only does it deliver an excellent user experience for the patient, the portals rich functionality delivers tangible benefits to the hospital. The team at EpiSoft delivered an outstanding product in just 14 weeks, this has to be the fastest IT project I have worked on”.
Bethesda will be the first hospital to use epi-me’s sophisticated post-discharge feedback module. This is yet another feature EpiSoft unveiled with this latest iteration of it’s hugely successful portal. Other features include Informed Financial Consent workflow, payment gateway, sophisticated event triggered patient communication tools, self-serve appointment booking and management, as well as being architected to support multilingual portals.

This latest implementation cements our reputation as interoperability experts and our enthusiasm to integrate to anything our customers require.”
epi-me was first launched back in 2011 with the Sydney Adventist Hospital. The company has a staggering 100% customer retention rate for epi-me.
