Hepatologists will have access to a new protocol driven system for the management of patients with chronic hepatitis, including support for shared care with GPs. CareZone GI will commence roll-out with a system for patients enrolled in the “B in IT” program for chronic hepatitis B developed by EpiSoft in collaboration with leading hepatologists in Melbourne. CareZone GI will also be used for the ongoing surveillance of patients at increased risk of colorectal cancer through chronic gastrointestinal disease. After a pilot program in Melbourne, the “ASSURANCE” program will be launched across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.
