EpiSoft is pleased to announce the release of advanced secure messaging capabilities in EpiSoft EMR , CareZone, product that have met the conformance requirements of the Australian Digital Health Agency (ADHA) Secure Messaging Industry Offer project. 

These enhanced features include:

• Integrated lookup across multiple secure messaging providers utilising a federated provider directory service to help you identify other providers secure messaging capabilities and expand your and their ability to exchange health information electronically;
• Interoperability and message exchange with different secure messaging enabled software products by utilising standardised messages including Referral Messages and Clinical Documents
• The ability to securely exchange messages based on current and future Australian encryption standards

This functionality will be part of our next major EpiSoft EMR release version 2020-10 scheduled for Dec 3 2020.  We look forward to working with secure messaging directory providers to implement the online directory capabilities for the benefit of our EpiSoft customers.
